The Saddimoota initiative of Hare Krishna Charities is an expression of recognition or appreciation for our Food Givers. A Farmer is someone who finds potential in dirt and converts them into the most vital aspect of mankind. Food is the manifestation of God and a farmer steers this manifestation to the benefit of life on earth. India is a land of agriculture and 60% of the population run their livelihood through agriculture. Small town farmers today travel across different towns and cities to sell their only source of livelihood, the proceeds from their farm. Everyday they visit different market yards strive to sell their last bit of product with a hope to take back something tangible ...
