Hare Krishna Charities is an initiative of the Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation (HKMCF) which is a registered Trust with operations spread across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Trust has served a cumulative of about 11 Crore Meals, benefitting Lakhs of underprivileged and needy over the past nine years through its state of art centralized community kitchens.
Hare Krishna Charities has implemented programmes such as Bhojana-Amritam, Annapurna, Saddimoota and Swasthya Ahara which feed about 65,000 meals every day. The mission is to serve 2,50,000 meals every day with a special focus on providing nutritious breakfast in Government Schools through Swasthya Ahara programme.

The donations are accepted for Bhojana-Amritam, Saddimoota, Swasthya Ahara programmes and for expansion of centralized kitchens. The meals served under Annapurna program is subsidized through grants by respective Municipalities and Municipal Corporations and hence, we do not raise donations for Annapurna program. All the donations to Hare Krishna Charities are allowed as deduction under 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.

The outcome of the hi-tech kitchen project in Mahabubnagar is really good. The hi-tech kitchen can serve 20,000 meals a day. We are extremely blessed to be a part of this journey and hope to foster a long term association with the Hare Krishna Charities.

Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation is part of the Group Trusts consisting of Hare Krishna Movement, ISKCON Bangalore, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir etc.
All the managing trustees of these Trusts are missionaries of the Hare Krishna Movement. However, each Trust is a separate legal entity and may have different governance structures depending on the scale and nature of the activities of the respective Trust.
